A new tropical storm has gained strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is presently located about 250 miles east of the coast of Baja California. Experts are expecting that Barbara will continue to strengthen over the next few days. The storm is heading northwestward at approximately 10 mph.
